Each individual has distinctive fitness objectives and schedules. That is the reason we don't offer a one size fits all service but rather offer everybody the convenience as allowed by their own condition and preferences. The lifestyle of a student and blue collared professional would be not quite the same and thus shouldn’t be their fitness routines. So with Gym Ashwood we have opened our doors to everyone and they are allowed to create an exercise regime that suits their individual requirements.

Gym Ashwood offers you an incredible lifting environment and this motivates you to work out harder. You can match your gym time with your gym buddy and have every one of the machines and gear just for yourselves. This incredibly increases the exercise options you have when structuring an exercise program.

FACILITIES - BURWOOD GYM


CARDIO ROOM

A great place to start if you're just getting into training, or to burn some calories. Traditional cardio is boring. That's why we've got rowers, ski-ergs, curved runners and Airdyne bikes. If you don't know what they are, then let us show you.

PERFORMANCE ROOM

For all of your functional & performance training needs. From monkey bars, to ropes, farmers walks and sled tracks. Training should never be boring, so we would really like you to get off the stationary bikes, and have a bit of fun in these areas.

LIFTING ROOM

Tons of flooring had been laid down to prepare for what you're about to do to those poor weight plates. All of our facilities cater for Weightlifting & Powerilfting. These areas will be loud, chalk will be used, and PB's will be broken.

 

"THE 'ROCK' ROOM

What's a gym without dumbbells? (We call them smartbells here). The Rock himself actually gave us a shoutout! Check his insta page around Nov 2018. All of our facilities have sufficient bench press stations as we know how Monday nights get. Also bench presses that are built to IPF competition spec, and dumbbells over 50kgs.

MACHINE ROOMS

Bodybuilders and physique chasers aren't going to be dissapointed either. From pin loaded to plate loaded machines. Also a whole lot of unique equipment you won't find in most globo gyms.

THE RACK ROOM

Rogue racks, Power Bars, Deadlift Bars, competition spec benches. If you live for the Squats Bench and Deads, this is pretty much the only place you need to be.

 

BOXING ROOM

Sometimes you just need to hit something. These bags are here to keep you out of trouble. If that's not fun enough for you, join in on a class, so you can to hit them along with your mates.

LIFTING CLASS ROOM

Training Day is known for our Barbell Culture. From Olympic Weightlifting to Powerlifting. We believe there is no substitute for strength. So want to learn or improve your lifting? Take up our Barbell Classes, and see what the fuss is about.

PIN-LOAD MACHINES ROOM

This room is made up of only pin-loaded machines. Some new schooled, some old schooled. Whatever accesory movements you're after, you'll find one here.

CLASS VIDEOS


BARBELL FIT

A combination of basic Olympic Weightlifting movements, and Hiit style circuit. This class is both fun and challenging. Very suitable for those who want to learn the basics of weightlifting, and get a sweaty workout at the same time.
Physically torturing and mentally challenging.
Duration: 60min

BOXFIT

Boxing Fit class with a high intensity twist! This class is extremely fun, and you will learn basic boxing techinques at the same time. make your day better in just 45 minutes.
Duration: 45mins

HIIT & MILITARY FIT

One of our super high intensity classes. Suitable for those looking for a physical and mental challenge. Come give this a try if you dare!
You'll hate it, but you'll love it!

CONSULTATION & ASSESSMENT

Every member offered a complimentary trainer consultation upon sign up; our trainer will take you through a list of exercises, make you feel comfortable on the gym floor, and answer any questions you may have regarding your training.

GROUP TRAINING

All classes are internally programmed by us to ensure they are effective, fun and safe. They are unique, and are targeted at different components of fitness.

PERSONAL TRAINING
