Our range of group fitness classes cater to people of all fitness levels. Group Fitness Class
How do I know which group fitness class is right for me?
All of our group classes are run by qualified fitness professionals who are able to cater the exercises for beginners through to advanced members. The workouts can be done at your own pace and intensity to match your current fitness level.
Is there anything that I need to bring to class?
It is recommended you bring a drink bottle and towel to the class. Training Day Gym does have water bottles and towels available for sale at reception.
Can I attend the fitness classes if I’m pregnant?
Training Day Gym recommends each person speaks with their doctor and seeks approval before exercising within the gym or participating in a group fitness class.
How fit or experienced do I need to be for group fitness classes?
You do not need to be experienced at all. Our classes can be catered to all fitness levels so it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced gym goer.
How many people can attend a group fitness class?
The amount of people who can attend a group fitness class varies depending on what area of the gym the class in run. As a general rule, we try to keep class numbers under 10.
Do I need to book a group class?
There is no need to book a group class. Simply arrive 5-10min before class to secure your spot.
What happens if I’m late to a fitness class?
Depending how late you arrive, you may still be able to join in the fitness class. Our coaches are very experienced and will be able to adapt the class to the shorter amount of time left for you.
Can I attend a fitness class with an injury or illness?
We ask that everyone gets medically cleared by their doctor for any injury. If you are sick or unwell we ask that you do not attend the gym or any group fitness class until symptoms have gone.
Can I bring a family or friend to a fitness class?
Yes you can bring a family or friend to a group fitness class. If they are not a member they can pay the casual rate of $15 for the class.
Is there a casual pass to group classes at Training Day?
Yes there is a casual pass to group fitness classes at Training Day. The casual pass is $15 and gives you access to the class as well as general admission to the gym.
What happens if I forget my towel or water bottle?
If you forget your towel or water bottle you can purchase one from reception.
Are there lockers to store my belongings while I do a fitness class?
Yes there are lockers available to store your belongings while you do a fitness class. We recommend bringing your own padlock for the lockers. There is also bag storage available which is under video surveillance.
